Server Error-403

Psychiatric Support Page

403 Forbidden

The 4xx class of status code is intended for cases in which the client seems to have erred. Except when responding to a HEAD request, the server should include an entity containing an explanation of the error situation, and whether it is a temporary or permanent condition. These status codes are applicable to any request method. User agents should display any included entity to the user. These are typically the most common codes encountered while online.

The 403 Forbidden HTTP status code indicates that the client was able to communicate with the server, but the server doesn't let the user access what was requested.

This response may indicate a resource that requires authentication, such as http authentication through the Authorization request header, or some other form of authentication which is managed through user scripts in a programming language such as PHP.

This response is returned by the Apache web server when directory listings have been turned off.
